 RACINE WOLVES — INVEST IN YOUTH. BUILD OUR FUTURE. 

As our Racine Wolves season continues, we want to take a moment to talk about something that is incredibly important to the future of this program: community support and sponsorships.

When we started building this program a few years ago, we had three football teams. Today, we have grown into five very full levels of football. That growth is something we are extremely proud of. It means more kids from our community are getting an opportunity to play football, build friendships, learn discipline, be part of a team, and have positive adults investing their time into them.

But growth also comes with a cost.

More athletes means more helmets, shoulder pads, uniforms, practice equipment, field costs, insurance, league expenses, and everything else that goes into operating a youth football organization. And just like everything else, inflation has hit youth sports hard. Helmets cost more. Shoulder pads cost more. Uniforms cost more. Nearly every expense associated with running a program has increased.

One thing that has always been important to us is keeping registration as affordable as possible for our families. We do not want to be a program charging $400 or $500+ per athlete. We want to under that $300 price point because we understand that families are already being pulled in a hundred different financial directions.

This year, however, with the continued growth of the program and the immediate need for additional equipment, we simply did not have many options. When your numbers grow from three teams to five full levels, the equipment has to grow with it.

We also recognize something on our end: in the past, we have not done a great job reaching out to the community for donations and sponsorship support. That is on us.

We have worked hard to build the program, coach the kids, organize games, handle equipment, schedule practices, communicate with families, fundraise and take care of the countless things that happen behind the scenes. But we haven't always done enough to tell local businesses and members of the Racine community, "We could really use your help."

So we are asking now.

The Racine Wolves are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we can provide documentation and a receipt for qualifying donations. Sponsorship dollars go directly back into supporting our youth program and helping us provide the equipment and opportunities these kids deserve.

There are no paid executives here.

Our board members are volunteers. Our coaches are volunteers.

The people running this organization are giving their time because we truly believe in what this program can do for kids in Racine.

Over the years, we have also seen firsthand that the struggle is real for many families. There have been several kids whose registration or expenses have been directly sponsored by members of our own program because we never want finances to be the reason a child doesn't get an opportunity to participate.

That is exactly why community partnerships matter.

Many of the organizations we compete against come from large, well-established communities. Some of those programs charge upwards of $500 per athlete in registration fees. They are able to replace equipment frequently and provide their athletes with the newest gear year after year.

We are trying to build something sustainable while still keeping our program financially accessible.

That requires help.

Every sponsorship helps purchase another helmet.

Every donation helps replace a set of shoulder pads.

Every fundraiser helps offset the cost of uniforms.

Every local business that partners with us helps us keep registration from climbing higher.

And most importantly, every dollar ultimately helps a kid.

We want our sponsors and supporters to know that we take that responsibility seriously. The money coming into this organization is being used to support the program and provide opportunities for our athletes. We understand that when someone writes a check, donates money, volunteers their time, or allows us to host a fundraiser at their business, they are putting trust in us.

We appreciate that trust tremendously.

We've already seen what this community can accomplish when people come together.

Our Ron’s Sports Pub Beer Bash was a huge success, and that would not have happened without the incredible group of parents and volunteers who stepped up to sell tickets, work the event, help with merchandise and support the organization.

That support matters more than people probably realize.

And we are looking forward to another great fundraiser with our upcoming Texas Roadhouse event. Events like these may seem simple — go out to eat, attend a fundraiser, buy a ticket, share a Facebook post — but when hundreds of people participate, it makes a very real difference to a nonprofit youth organization.

Now we're asking our local businesses, families, friends, alumni, community leaders and anyone who believes in youth sports to consider becoming a Racine Wolves sponsor.

Our sponsorship opportunities begin at $250, with additional levels at $500, $1,000 and $2,500+. Depending on the sponsorship level, businesses can receive recognition through our social media, website, game-day banners and other opportunities throughout the program.

And please know this:

You don't have to give $2,500 to make a difference.

You don't even have to give $250.

We appreciate every cent that comes our way.

Whether it's $25, $50, $100, a sponsorship, donated equipment, services, food for an event, or simply sharing one of our fundraising posts — it all helps.

We truly believe there is something special being built here.

A few years ago, it was three teams.

Today, it is five full levels of kids wearing the Racine Wolves uniform.

Tomorrow, we want it to be an organization that continues serving Racine families for many, many years.

But that doesn't happen because of one board, one coach or one season.

It happens because a community decides its kids are worth investing in.

2022 – The Inaugural Season
The 2022 season marked the beginning of the Panther Youth Football Program, and it made an immediate impact.

• The 1st & 2nd Grade Youth Panthers finished 1st Place in Division 1 and 3rd Overall on the season.
   
• The team went undefeated in regular-season play, winning all seven games, though the season opener was officially recorded as a tie due to a dual forfeiture.
   
• Their season concluded with a thrilling playoff matchup against Waterford, falling just short in a hard-fought battle: Panthers 24 – Wolverines 25.
   

Congratulations also go out to Stateline Comets Maroon on winning the 1st & 2nd Grade SEYFA Super Bowl.

The 7th Grade Youth Panthers delivered a perfect regular season, finishing undefeated. They capped off their year in style by earning 1st Place at the Midwest Gridiron Classic in DeKalb, Illinois. An outstanding debut year—congrats to our boys!

2023 – A New Identity, A New Challenge
For the 2023 season, the Park Panther Youth Program officially rebranded as the Wisconsin Panthers Youth and joined the TCYFL, bringing a deeper talent pool and significantly higher competition.

• Featherweight, Middleweight, and Varsity teams all posted winning records and advanced to the semi-finals.
   
• Bantam and Varsity teams both claimed Division Championships.
   
• The highlight of the season was the Bantam squad, the crown jewel of 2023, who captured the BIG10 4A Championship.
   

2024 – Growth, Grit, and Championship Runs
The 2024 season brought expansion and intense competition.

• A new Flyweight team (ages 5–7) was added and delivered an impressive debut season, losing just one regular-season game.
   
• Bantam pursued a repeat championship, finishing an undefeated regular season (9–0) before falling to Kaneland in the Championship game.
   
• Featherweight overcame a challenging start, improving weekly and advancing to the 1A Championship, where they narrowly lost to Zion-Benton 6–0 after defeating them earlier in the season.
   
• Middleweight qualified for the 1A playoffs but were eliminated in the first round by a strong Stevenson squad.
   

2025 – Resilience and Championships
The Panthers continued their upward trajectory in 2025.

• Flyweight showed tremendous growth, rebounding from an 0–2 start to win five straight games. They finished 3rd overall after a bowl-game victory over Huntley.
   
• Bantam dominated the season, suffering only one loss—a rare defensive battle that ended 2–0. They went on to claim the 3A Super Bowl Championship, defeating Cary 13–0.
   
• Featherweight completed an undefeated regular season and earned the Regal Division Championship, but fell to Huntley in the first round of the 5A playoffs.
   
• Middleweight, despite a young and undersized roster, competed fiercely throughout the season and advanced through the 2A bracket all the way to the Super Bowl, where they faced a disciplined Huntley U squad.
